    • Welcome to our mediterranean themed home!
    • The Mediterranean home style is characterised by the use of earthy tones, pops of colour and patterns, and natural materials.
    • The core colour palette of our home is white and warm shades of wood, with pops of terra cotta and deep blue for that welcoming Mediterranean feel.
    • We also had fun using patterned tiles…
    • …and prints to add a touch of Spanish charm.
    • When choosing the furniture for our home, we went with organic materials like wood and rattan to create a rustic and earthy touch.
    • Wrought iron is also featured as an accent in many Mediterranean homes. This was a tricky element for us to incorporate, so we were delighted to find these lamps.
    • When it came to décor, we focused on adding texture to make our home feel warm and layered. One example is the woven basket in our service yard—it not only brings in a Mediterranean touch but also serves a practical purpose, helping us keep laundry nets and miscellaneous items neatly tucked away. We also incorporated other textured elements throughout the house, like bohemian-style pillows on the sofa and textured art pieces in the dining area, which add depth and personality to each space.
    • Lastly, don’t forget to add plants as the finishing touch. Whether real or faux, they help reinforce the connection to nature and bring a sense of warmth and comfort—key elements at the heart of Mediterranean home style.
