  • Hello and welcome to the master bed room tour from @__madeofpebbles! This bedroom is made of two rooms because during our initial design process, we struggle to work around the default master bedroom space. Just like a packet of instant noodles for supper, where 1 is a little lacking, and 2 packets are too much, we wished we could have 1.5 room size. While renovation is not as simple as breaking noodles into halves, we worked around and demarcate a dedicated lounge area merged into the bedroom space.
  • In the days, we will keep the night curtains pulled back to give lights into the room. It really has a nice glow, and we are thankful for the south facing windows.
  • We have yet to secure any bedside tables, so for now, we are working around what we have, i.e. a small wooden ladder. Do comment and happy to take in recommendations for what may be a good side table for us!
  • Still planning the headboard area, but ideally a plant placement will reserved against the plain walls at the moment.
  • Made the wardrobe with a touch of fun with the carpentry laminates. Yes, that is Hermes colour code indeed. We added colours in the room making the mix and match challenging but also takes us beyond the confinement of interior styles and explore different concepts.
  • The opposite view of the bed! Here is where we have a modular shelvings custom-made with local carpentry. The spacious room has a strong focal point, in which is the 80cm large pendant light! Feels like a moon at night! We have a strong preference for airy - natural breeze, which is why we are not too concerned of the air-conditioning being in a slightly larger horsepower and further away from the bed in the 2-in-1 master bedroom plan we have.
  • We tried different types of diffusers, and this is one of our favourite way, which is using purely essential oils, making it lasts longer throughout the space.
  • Also thank you for the house warming gift from Hipvan by Pristine Aroma. We have a lot of small pottery made from our learning sessions, just like an Easter Egg hunt for you readers, if you spot them. Drop in the comments how many pieces you spot!
