Our living room: a cosy sanctuary where simplicity meets comfort

Welcome to our living room! This is where we spend most of our time being couch potatoes and bingeing our favourite Netflix shows. For a clean look, we went with a simple wainscoting design for our TV wall. One of our favourite suggestions by our ID for our home was the "flat cove light", which is an LED strip without a ledge. This solves the issue of dust or lizards hiding up there, while still allowing us to enjoy the relaxing ambience created by the soft diffused look of cove lighting.
The books on our TV console actually hides all our remote controls to reduce clutter.

Always had the impression that recliner sofas look clunky so we were super happy to find the perfect one with slim armrests to maximise the living room space. The soft material is scratch and stain resistant! Our carpet is also stain resistant as we plan to be cat parents soon!
As our cat furniture will take over this space in the future, we will miss chilling here as the sunset glow is stunning. Look at the photo below that we captured one evening!
