  • Hi again everyone! Welcome to what should probably be our most unaesthetic entry ever - the service yard. This area houses our helper's room and her toilet (and also the washer and cleaning apparatus), so I didn't want to move things around too much and mess it up for her πŸ˜‚ Space is narrow here so we did bifold doors in clean white tones. Behind the foremost door is helper's room.
  • Panning across and you can see the washer and helper's toilet.
  • Heres a closer look at the washer and the super functional rack! The front load washer is nestled in the bottom tier, and there are two shelves to place your washing and household essentials. There's even a rod for hanging some clothes! Word of caution, the shelves are made of plywood so don't put super heavy stuff on it. I am aware the photo shows an iron placed on it, I'll have a word with helper tmr...🀣
  • Just a nice wall paneling to zhng up the yard and kitchen area you think?
  • Not just! The bottom panel hides our dustbin chute πŸ˜‰ Felt that it was unsightly and unhygienic for the dustbin to be fully open to the kitchen area, so we made a door panel to conceal it and enhance aesthetics.
  • I'd greatly recommend this nifty little contraption as well. Folded up, it's a sturdy rod with hooks for hanging random items.
  • And opened up, it's a decently sized laundry rack with many rows for hanging more items or for placing items on top to dry.
  • Of course that little item isn't enough for the family's laundry needs, so we have this 3 tier foldable laundry rack! Made with the lowest of technology, you'll never worry about spare parts or faulty mechanisms! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Our balcony enjoys a nice dose of morning sun and constant wind so clothes dry nicely there instead of in the small service yard. Alright, thanks for reading up till here. Hope this service yard post was serviceable!
