For a more space-saving solution, one of the first appliances we got when moving in was a hybrid appliance - Cornell 25L Air Fryer Oven with Turbo Convection Function. This reduces the need to have multiple appliances taking up precious countertop space.
Our air fryer oven measures approximately 40 x 38 x 35 cm - a compact size that's good enough for a two-person household! :)
We chose this Cornell Air Fryer Oven because we were won over the numerous functions it promises. Apart from the convection and air fry functions, this oven is supposed to be able to ferment doughs, defrost frozen items, and even be able to roast a whole chicken inside!
The oven comes with a few attachments - pictured here is an air fryer basket and stainless steel rack. If we know we're cooking multiple meals in one day, we use a baking sheet to line the trays to reduce the amount of washing in between meals!
The oven also comes with a large baking tray - perfect for those sheet pan meals for busy days! Here's an idea of how much this tray can fit despite it looking fun-sized - we once roasted four large chicken thighs on one tray, together with potatoes, carrots, and onions!
The oven comes with a heat-resistant stainless steel attachment for pulling out the baking trays, which we found really helpful. To make our meal prepping and cooking more efficient, we also purchased a stainless steel tongs to easily reach the food items inside the oven. We hung these two tools by the side of the oven with magnetic stainless steel hooks, so that we don't have to dig around our drawers every time we need to use them!
As we have a small kitchen and limited countertop, this compact oven sits a distance away from our stove. We decided on this layout so that we can conveniently pop the food we want to finish in the oven.
This oven has been one of the most utilised appliance in our household - we have baked numerous sweet treats and whipped up many delicious meals with our trusty oven.
