  • Hello again everyone and welcome to our master bathroom!🫶🏻 Both our bathrooms in our home look similar to each other, except for their slight difference in the layout. In this post, we’ll be talking about our master bathroom and how I styled it to give it character and make it our own.🤭 The bathrooms came ready with the house and like the rest of the house, we had no choice in the design or materials used. Luckily for us, it has a neutral and somewhat timeless design so we have no complains hahaha. Also happy to report that we have not had any major issues with our bathrooms in our 9 years living here. Fingers crossed it stays that way!🤞🏻😆
  • There is no storage cabinet and we did not want to add on carpentry so to combat that, I use baskets (must be aesthetic and in theme hahaha) to hold toilet essentials like toilet rolls and the other one as a rubbish bin. I like to use Ikea’s plant pots as rubbish bins as they have a plastic lining inside which keeps things easy to clean and clear. Plus, the handles make it easy to carry around as well whenever it needs emptying.👍🏻 This one is made of plastic but has a rattan look so it will not turn mouldy in the humidity. The one I tagged is the wood rattan one so please find the plastic version, it’s the same price!
  • Both bathrooms came with partition sliding doors to segregate the shower areas. It’s a feature we love because it prevents the outside area from getting wet. Very good for a clean ocd freak like me.🤪👍🏻 The only downside was that it didn’t come with any shelving or recessed area to hold toiletries. We fixed that by putting these stick on corner shelves.
  • Next is our sink area. Life is too short to not have matching bathroom sets hahaha. Was on a hunt for aesthetic ones for a super long time until I found these. Fell in love with these marble/travertine toilet brush holder and dispenser. Got them from Zara home overseas because it was love at first sight!🥹❤️ Also got a trinket tray to place my everyday jewellery. Had a hard time finding one of this size that can fit in this spot nicely. Finally found one from The Happy Place! We also have a scent candle and scent diffuser. I also use shower bombs to make our bathroom feel and smell spa like.🤭
  • Some close ups of styling details hehe.✨
  • Our mirror comes with some storage and it’s where I place my skincare and other essentials. It’s 95% mine and 5% the hubs because his skincare routine is just soap and water lol. And his skin is better than mine.🥲
  • Moving on to our toilet bowl, which isn’t spared from styling either hahahaha. Here we have a DIY textured art done by yours truly. The paw prints were an accidental happy mistake when the fur babies stepped all over my artwork when I left it out to dry. Turned out nicer after that because it made it more special.🐾 Also here, we have some post-poo drops which is life changing!!! We add a few drops every time after doing a huge number 2 and the bathroom smells amazing after. Totally cancels out the toxic waste smells from our 💩 so it’s a MUST have for every bathrooms.👍🏻
  • Close up of the paw prints on the diy art. Look like flower petals don’t they?😍🐾
  • We also have a booby bath mat in this bathroom hehe.🌚
  • The back of the toilet door also isn’t spared from styling hahahaha.🤣
  • Ending off with a before photo of our master bathroom when we collected our keys! Thanks for reading.😍🫶🏻
  • Bonus photo of fur babies for reaching the end hehe. See you on the next one!😘🐾
