  • This would sound pretty kua zhang (exaggerated) but believe me when I say an artificial olive tree is one of the very first things I knew I had to get for our house 😅 Perhaps it’s from all the nordic, modern organic houses on my Pinterest moodboard but I just knew I had to get it! We are considering a real one but it’s quite expensive and we haven’t really tested if we have green fingers so……. It’s still a passing thought LOL
  • Putting our green fingers to the test with the one and only real plant we have - a lil chili plant named la la (yes, we name our plants & also our appliances hehe I’m sure we’re not the only ones!) This was kindly gifted by one of our friend :) but we soon realised that even though our service yard is the most feasible place to put our plants, it’s not the most practical place because there’s not a lot of direct sunlight….. little la la is still surviving for now so all’s good!
  • The first bouquet I received after moving in was from my colleagues - they got me my favourite cappuccino roses 😍 it was so beautiful that I couldn’t bear just throwing it away or letting it wither. Instead, I decided to dry the bouquet by hanging it upside down for 2 weeks! It dried beautifully and I rearranged the bouquet in 2 vases to decorate the house.
  • And here is the last of the greens/flowers/plants in our home - the same dried flowers in another vase! I actually bought this vase for other parts of the house, but the vase came pink instead of beige and it was a bit of a mismatch. Luckily for me, I have some hints of pink with my keycaps and also my Logitech pebble so it matches perfectly 🥰
