Ohayo~ this is a standard 4 room BTO’s Bedroom 3, which we transformed into our dining room 🍽️ we chose to hack the L-shaped wall between our living space and Bedroom 3 to open up the public space! Tip: Other common examples are to use this area as a workspace, home gym or entertainment area. Do plan well & consider your needs in the next 5 years! We kept this room simple with no built-ins. We have a dining table (1.8m), a bench, 2 chairs & a corner fan. For those wondering if the corner fan is enough, I would say…on a hot day, nope! However, when it’s paired with an aircon, it’ll help to ventilate & cool down the space much faster 💨🎐 A little appreciation for the mood lighting! We usually use the hanging bubble lamp on a daily basis & it’s enough for us. The spotlights can be a little harsh & get a little hot after a while. One of our favourite finds - these chairs from Grey & Sanders! They come in a set of 2 & I remember it being more affordable than other chairs we were looking at 🤍 also helps that it matches the rest of our home aesthetics! We fell in love with the dining table (from Ethnicraft) 😍 she’s made of teak & we chose to keep her unvarnished for that natural look! We got a plastic sheet to protect her from spills & stains 🤓 Our usual set up for two 👩❤️👨 there’s a structural wall on the left which cannot be hacked. Hence, this is our way to enjoy our meals while watching tv! 📺 That’s all for our dining space! Albeit simple, it’s an integral part of our home where we host our loved ones & spend time with each other. Cheers! 🥂 Bonus: If you’re still contemplating what to buy, here’s a promo code ‘communas8BBPDT’ on Communa to enjoy 7% off all items with no min. spend. You’re welcome 👋🏻
