  • Hello! Equipped with the experience of owning our first home, the renovation process for our second home was a breeze as we knew exactly what we wanted or did not want in our new home.
  • We wanted a seamless transition from the foyer to the kitchen, hence we chose the same laminate to be consistent throughout. We had this ugly tiled beam right in the middle and our ID suggested to cover it up with the same laminate. To date, it was the best decision ever.
  • As most of the house are in earthy / neutral colours, we often opt for colourful items to brighten up our house a little!
  • Our favourite part of the house! We knew we wanted a huge table in our house so we begin hunting for a table even before our Reno! We finally set our eye’s on the Castlery’s limited edition travetine anniversary table but we were too late! We tried our luck on Taobao and managed to custom make the one you see here!
  • Opted for movables for the living area so we can move things around or change things up if we want to!
  • We got this specifically for the sliding doors so we get to hide the clutter and the game consoles! PROTIP! Sliding doors prevent anything from jutting out because we used to forget to close our console doors. It was an eyesore.
  • Leather sofa for movie night! The type and quality of leather means a lot to us because we hate having sticky backs!
  • His/Hers work desk situation. IKEA drawers fit our table perfectly, for us to keep our little Knick knacks!
  • Lighter colour palettes for our room so we get to rest and recharge. A bit more resorty-vibe to calm ourselves before we turn in for the night!
  • Wrapping it up with a PROTIP! Two-way switch your night light/ hanging lamp so it doesn’t become a white elephant! Our bedside lamp in our old home was very under utilised because we did not have a switch by the bed. Now, we used this every night.
