The most eye catching part of our home has got to be the living / study room because of the long strip of LED lights that go from wall to ceiling! I absolutely love how the lights not only help to frame up this space, creating a spatial separation of the 2 spaces from the other common area while also functioning as our favourite light source for the entire area. I also love how the lights bring out the lime wash TV feature wall we painted ourselves. A single switch can illuminate the entire space sufficiently, and beautifully. I also personally prefer the LED strip light over the downlight we got, as the downlight can generate extra heat! I absolutely love this space, its perfect to wind down and watch netflix! Next on my favourite list would be this kitchen as it feels really open, and honestly feels part of the dining area. I guess, i would have preferred if we had the space to install a fan here, as this area can get a little stuffy when cooking. But so far, this space is big enough and functions well enough for the amount of cooking we do! I also especially love how wires are managed in this house, as we made special efforts to ask our ID to create these flaps so that wires can be hidden and tucked away and out of sight. Aside from a few wires that are difficult to conceal, in the major areas like the TV console area or the study area you will not see ugly wires sticking out anywhere. A pop of colour is GREAT for our neutral toned and honestly muted colour theme. As much as i love white, beige and brown...the home would be too monotonous if we did not include some colour. Our pick of colour would be Green! As it is soothing to look at and matches well with the theme. I love that we have several fake plants scattered throughout the home. Last but not the least, i love how gold accessories elevate the look of the home. Again, it also bring a pop of colour to our very neutral palette home. We like the luxe effect it brings, without having to spend a bomb as we got most of these gold furnitures from TaoBao! :) Look how comfortable the pup is sleeping in her new home!
