  • Hello everyone! We’re first owners of this DBSS unit in yishun and have been living here for almost 9 years. Being a DBSS, we did not have to do any reno as the unit was move in ready and all we had to do was to install lights. We bought this at the price of $521k 9 years ago and this price included the floors (parquet in rooms and tile everywhere else), wardrobe carpentry in all bedrooms, toilets all fully furnished, 4 units of air conditioner and kitchen fully furnished (carpentry, cooking hob and hood, and water heater unit that runs through to taps of whole house). The brands used were also not too shabby, like Blum kitchen cabinets system, cotto toilet bowls and a few others that we can’t remember the names of. This saved us a lot of hassle of having to find an ID or contractor and we could just go straight to getting furnitures and appliances. However downside was that it was not customised to our needs. Because of that, we went through many years and made many frequent changes around the house to make it feel like our own. Even now, there are still small changes happening every few months.😂 So follow along if you enjoy shopping for home decor online and styling your home to add your own flavour!🫶🏻
  • We love IKEA for their flexibility! This sofa was originally bought in dark grey colour but we felt that it didn’t suit the overall theme of the house as we changed things around. So we bought 2 other colours of the sofa cover and changed it whenever we wanted to achieve a new look. It’s like getting a brand new sofa!
  • This balcony you see here went through quite a few changes. Started out bare before we added a high table and chair set. But we realised that we didn’t utilise it much as it was uncomfortable so we decided to sell that set off on carousell and thrifted this super comfy weather proof ikea balcony chair that was sold out for months on Ikea. Now we use this spot every time our friends come around for gatherings. We also love sitting here to have our heart to heart talks in the evenings and just to rewind after a long day. Love how inviting it is now!
  • I have an obsession with matching our bedding to our throws and pillows hahaha. And yes, we make our bed daily when we wake up (the husband has been trained too). Makes the bed more inviting when we retreat here for the night. The textured art framed above the bed were DIYed by myself as I couldn’t find any online that I liked or the ones I liked were too expensive. Took a lot of effort to do it but love how they turned out!
  • The photo shelfie.😆 Took years of collecting pieces we bought overseas and online and me styling it to make it what it is today. It still goes through some changes every now and then when there’s new pieces or when our fur babies “accidentally” breaks something.🥲
  • Thanks for scrolling through! :)
