  • Welcome to Cafe in Wonderland! This is the 3D render of our living room which we approved with a few minor changes including choice of slightly warmer colour tones. We designed the structures (just by description) and our ID refined the aesthetic side of our design with the renders. We knew we wanted a Samsung Frame TV even before we started and there’s lots of storage behind the TV feature wall as well as around the bomb shelter. We’d love to have you stay around to check out the details of our home!
  • We combined the dining room & kitchen & entryway in one cosy space and this 3D render is the one we look forward to the most! One of the key highlights of our entryway is the “wood” ceiling which is put together with vinyl that is suitable for ceilings. As you walk in, you can choose to have a cup of coffee at the bar and watch the chef whip up your dinner or dine at the 2-seater dining table, which is customised made with Quartz to fit the space. Having a multi-functional area works for us in this 4room BTO flat of 93sqm. We made a few minor changes to the render including the choice of colours, we went a little warmer than the renders. Because our changes were mostly minor, we gave the ID the green light to start without rendering a new set of renders.
  • As you walk into our master bedroom, you are aware that the colour scheme changes from mostly light-coloured in the living areas to a darker colour scheme in the bedroom. We love this contrast as it gives the winding down vibes. This render accurately depicts the vibes we wanted. We have a built-in wardrobe, built-in bed head with storage, built-in work desk and built-in settee with storage.
  • This is another 3D render view of our open concept dining-kitchen area. One feature of the renders fittings that we brought to reality was the track lights in the kitchen. We love the vibes it gives and the adjustable angles of the lights. When we have friends over, we are also able to place another fold down 2-seater beside the built-in table. We made a few minor changes to the render including the choice of colours, we went a little warmer than the renders. Because our changes were mostly minor, we gave the ID the green light to start without rendering a new set of renders.
  • Here’s another view of our living room. The folding table in between the recliners opens up to a 6-seater which comes in handy when we host. We love the concept of having 2 recliners instead of a large sofa because it is more cosy and also easily moveable.
  • Here’s another view of our living room. We love the curved open shelf that the ID conceptualised for us. Fun fact: When we initially designed the living room, we did not want open shelves, but when we saw the design modifications the ID presented on the renders, we realised how the open shelves placed at the strategic corners open up the design and makes it less boxy and “closed in”. After moving in, the open shelves gave us the freedom to switch up the soft furnishings and decor pieces to give the space a touch of personality. We love it! It’s definitely worth the extra chore of wiping down the shelves.
  • We love the curved touches that the ID proposed and designed around the open shelves. However the reality is not as seamlessly curved as the renders. It was not a deal-breaker but on hindsight we should have clarified before production.
  • This is the dining-kitchen-entryway brought to life! As you can see, we kept the track lights and a round feature lights proposed by the ID in the render. Our kitchen doesn’t get too much natural light due to the layout of the bto and the track lights help to brighten the area with its adjustable lights.
  • Here’s an additional view of our pantry/coffee corner. As you can guess, we love our beverages - coffee, tea, alcoholic and bread!
  • This is how our master bedroom turned out. We love bow the darker colours brought the winding down vibes to reality. Having a built-in bed head meant that we can utilise vertical space within the minimal floor space for a whole lot of storage. Behind these cardboards are clothes, makeup, hair styling tools, skincare products and more! After we shopped for the storage bed without bed head, everything fits into place as expected.
  • Here’s the view entering our master bedroom where the colour scheme transitions from a light palette in the living areas to a darker tone in the resting den.
  • Here’s a closeup of our customised wallpaper which is one of the features that is not in the renders. Fun fact: We customised it with a “Cafe in Wonderland” sign at the top left corner. As you may have already guessed, our home has a home cafe theme!
