Rustic Cozy Bedroom That Breaks All The Rules

Welcome to our bedroom! This is the only room with a blue coloured wall. In line with the rest of the home, our vibe here is cozy rustic with pops of colour. Our bed frame was bought 13 years ago at a heartland furniture store so I am tagging a good alternative that we just might purchase if ours need to be refreshed!
This step stool was one of our first pieces of furniture in our home. It works well as a side table. I love how it forces us to only keep the essentials at our bedside due to the open concept.
One of the most controversial elements in our home are the cabinets above our bed. So far they have worked well in hiding our families of soft toys. We have also refreshed the laminate of the cabinet doors with laminate stickers. On the other side of the bed is a mini bookshelf that the boys have outgrown that fits perfectly in our bedroom.

Lastly, this is the plant haven within the bedroom that brings me so much joy. Can you blame me for wanting to stay in bed to daydream with such a view?
