Hello and welcome to our simple yet cozy little dining area! The original layout for this home had a suggested dining area that was kept within the 2 walls between the current dining area and dry pantry. However as we wanted a more open dining area so that we could easily add more chairs & foldable table to host larger party sizes, we ended up with this layout. Our 1.5m dining table can seat 6 comfortably and the curved edge and cylindrical table legs make it easy for everyone to gather around the dining table without any awkward sharp corners where chairs can't be placed. 
Instead of a loose-piece dining table, we went with a built-in piece to create a seamless flow between the kitchen island and dining table. The perfectly positioned travertine-looking pendant lights not only provides soft lighting but also serves as a subtle yet sophisticated focal point for the dining area, seamlessly blending with the soft, neutral tones of the house. 
KompacPlus was our dining table top choice for both practical and aesthetic reasons. The material is low-maintenance compared to natural wood, offering resistance to stains and water damage while replicating the natural wood texture.
