  • Hello everyone! Welcome to our 3 bedder EC in the north of little sunny island! We are first time homeowners and are very excited to be part of this community. We were lucky enough to get our favorite unit with a high ceiling living area.
  • As we step into the living room, we want to feel at ease, with the balance between luxury and comfort - a place where we can breathe deeply, enjoy good company, or simply lose ourselves in the peaceful ambiance of the room. We have a 4.5m high ceiling, which gives the whole house a more spacious and luxurious atmosphere.
  • The 65" OLED TV is mounted on a sleek, modern featured wall that has a subtle stone-like texture, giving the room a touch of elegance. We know we want a clean and minimalist placement, with no visible wires or clutter. The featured wall not only serve as a centerpiece of our house, but it maintains the streamlined aesthetic of the space.
  • The stone-like finish on the feature wall is accentuated by subtle lighting along the edges, adding a warm, inviting glow and highlighting the wall’s elegant pattern. We added a curve to the featured wall to soften the look. The shelving unit to the left of the TV offers a contrast with its darker tone and vertical structure. LED lights were built into enhance the ambience during our movie nights. As most of the lights in our home are smart, we group these lights as movie ambient lights and use it frequently with the help of Google Nest.
  • The open display shelf with encased lights and marble-like laminate is probably wife's favorite corner of the house. It had a subtle curve that soften the whole look.
  • The decor items like our framed photos, small ornaments, and candles on the shelves helps remind us of the wonderful memories.
  • Featuring wife favorite rabbit tissue box.
  • With the 4.5m head space, we installed a chandelier that adds a touch of modern sophistication like a centerpiece that elevates the entire space. Our initial plan was to built an additional loft/mezzanine which will give us an extra space, however after much consideration, we choose not to scarifice the airiness of the house for the additional space. The space feels both expansive and intimate at the same time. The large windows give us a panoramic view of the estate beyond with a unblock view of an open field, allow us to relax and unwind.
  • The full leather sofa was a perfect pick for our living room. While it have sofa legs that are high enough for our robot vaccuum to do the daily cleaning, it also create a sense of openness and spaciousness in the room.
  • We did not have a conventional coffee table as the width of the living room is not wide enough. Having a side table that holds our movie's drinks and snacks is definitely the best choice here.
  • And that is all for our living room tour! This space is a work in progress as we felt that there are empty spaces/white walls for more creativity. Feel free to comment on what else we can put to beautify this space and do keep a lookout for our future posts where we share more on our house!
