  • For now, this space serves as a guest room, but in the future, we’re planning to turn it into a child’s room if our family grows. With that in mind, we’ve designed the room to be simple and easy to transform when the time comes. Here’s how we’ve set it up for the present, with an eye toward the future. :)
  • We’ve added some colourful, framed artwork and a string of hanging plants to give the room personality. We wanted to make the guest room feel inviting, so nothing is too serious or stiff - it’s all about creating a relaxed vibe. The little lamp on top adds a warm glow, making the room feel inviting and relaxed, especially at night.
  • We kept the bedding neutral and soft to create a calm, cozy feel. It’s not over the top, just simple and comfortable - perfect for guests who want a good night’s sleep. Next to the bed, we’ve got a storage unit. It’s great for keeping small items like chargers, books, or personal belongings within arm’s reach. The rounded design and soft colours keep the room’s cozy vibe going while offering plenty of storage without taking up too much space. We’ve also added a TV to the room so our guests can unwind in comfort. It’s mounted on the wall across from the bed, so they can easily relax and enjoy a little entertainment.
  • One of our favourite things about this room is how organised it feels without being crammed full of furniture. The black shelving unit on the wall isn’t just there for looks - it’s functional too. Guests can use it to hang their clothes, bags, or anything else they need to keep handy. We wanted to keep things flexible so guests have enough space for their belongings too.
  • The hidden storage bins under the desk? They’re perfect for keeping things tidy now (stashing away things like extra bedding or everyday items we don’t want lying around), and in the future, they could store toys, books and other suppliers. We’ve intentionally kept things versatile so the room can grow and change with us hehe
  • Wow, we can’t believe this is our final post as Season 6 HipVan Ambassadors! What a ride it’s been. As we say goodbye to this chapter, know that we’re not done sharing home inspiration - we’re just getting started! Thank you, HipVan, for letting us be a part of your amazing community, and thank YOU for following along. :) Here’s to more cozy spaces, creative ideas and the joy of making a house a home!
