  • We bought a vase of preserved flowers from a local store that is of muted colour that goes well in every corner of the house. And in season of the year, we decided to place them in our bedroom which really blends well with the current colours of our pillowcases! Note: If you do not have green fingers, preserved flowers are really a good choice!
  • Other than preserved flowers, a good option will be faux flowers and plant. Faux plants are a good start to your greenery journey that is of zero mantenance, except for some minor dusting as and when required. We added one in our toilet to add some colours and vibrancy to our pastel coloured toilet. Tips: Try to buy faux plant that general focused between 1 or 2 colours. This will reduce the messiness of the plants.
  • Like all areas of the home, our studyroom is also placed with faux plants. This is especially important in the study, are it is a place where most of the time spent are on the computers. These greeneries really help relax your eyes and let you zone off from your stressful workload. Tip: If your room are painted or furnished with most colours, buy a darker or plants that has only one colour. Or preferably a green plant.
  • At the other side of our study, it is a space where we placed our decorations. In this space, it consists of small items that are of stronger colours. As such, we placed a small vase of persevered flowers that are in an autumn mood which blends with the wall paint and cupboard yet doesn't steal the limelight of the items at the cupboard.
