  • Hello, we are @potterhomeadventures on IG! 😊 Our residence is situated in the northern region of Singapore, with renovation expenses amounting to approx. $50K. This is our very first post, and we are excited to give you a virtual tour of our home. We have been living here for over a year now, and it has been an incredible journey transforming and personalizing our space bit by bit. Our home features a neutral colour palette of grays, whites, and natural woods, creating a calm and cohesive look. We hope you enjoy exploring our home and maybe find some inspiration for your own living space!
  • When you step into our home, this is the welcoming view that greets you.
  • Our entryway features a harmonious blend of grey and white tones. The hexagon floor tiles add visual interest and help define the living room area, providing a smooth transition between spaces. We have also wrapped the main door to seamlessly match our home's overall theme.
  • We love the idea of having greenery in our home, but we don't exactly have green thumbs. So, we opted for some artificial plants as well as a vertical wall trellis to hold the vine plant. They bring a touch of nature indoors without any of the upkeep. These plants not only look great but also give the area a calm, relaxing vibe.
  • We also added a feature ceiling with fluted panels and built-in lights. It adds a lot of character and makes the living room feel extra cozy. We just love how it ties the whole space together.
  • In the kitchen, we have a combination of dark green carpentry and black subway tiles, creating a bold yet elegant look. The layout is practical and functional, with sufficient storage space and a clean, streamlined appearance. Since we do not cook often, we decided an open kitchen concept would suit us better. This design makes our living and dining areas feel much more spacious.
  • Here's a look at our service yard. Since our kitchen was on the smaller side, we decided to knock down the wall to make the area look more extended. Now, the service yard houses our washer and robot cleaner. This change has made the area feel much more functional, significantly improving the overall flow and usability of our home.
  • We transformed Bedroom 3 into a Harry Potter-themed home office.
  • Mr Tan’s enthusiasm for Harry Potter has sparked our collection’s growth, inspiring our IG handle as well. We have made our home office the showcase for these treasures, where the vibe is just right.
  • By knocking down some walls and installing a bi-fold glass door and glass partitions, we were able to let in much more natural light. Certainly, it makes the space look brighter during the day.
  • We love hanging out here, whether we are grinding away or just chilling. The ergonomic table is a game-changer since it's adjustable, so we can switch between standing and sitting whenever we want.
  • Here's a peek into our master bedroom. The mix of grey tones, soft lighting, and cozy textiles creates a calming and serene vibe, perfect for rest out after a long day.
  • Our master bedroom is pretty simple, with the only built-in being our wardrobe. It features casement doors with a royal blue laminate finish and a sleek groove line design. The bold colour adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to the room.
  • Finally we have reached our master bathroom! The vanity area includes a sink with a matching grey marble countertop. The black faucet and accessories complement the overall design, while the under-sink storage provides ample space for keeping toiletries neatly tucked away. The shower area is enclosed with clear glass panels and a black frame, giving it a contemporary feel. And that's a wrap on our home tour! Don't forget to stay tuned and follow us on IG for more updates! 😊
