  • Hello, we're @alilbto! :) Today, we'll be sharing some photos from the moodboard, the asks we had for our kitchen, and how these cumulated into the 3D rendering that you see in this image! :) This was our very first 3D rendering! We'll share how our 3D renderings evolved across the 3 itierations, and how that compares against the current kitchen we have in next week's post!
  • These 2 photos guided the general vibes we wanted for our future kitchen: 1) No upper cabinets as we didn't want clutter and because things stored up there would generally not be the most accessible either 2) Open shelving so our kitchen walls wouldn't look too empty 3) Wabi sabi/scandi vibe from the rest of the house should continue to flow through the kitchen 4) Lots of countertop space for us to prep ingredients when we cook Side note: we are unfortunately unable to credit the respective ID firms/homeowners whose homes are being featured in today's post as we had no intentions to post our moodboard references online when we were creating our moodboard and we have lost the links to these images - pls DM us if you'd like us to credit you and we'd be happy to link the reference image back to you!
  • These were some close-up photos we included in our moodboard to guide how we envisioned our open shelvings to look like: 1) made of wood/wood laminate 2) it should blend in with the rest of the wood elements found in the kitchen Side note: we are unfortunately unable to credit the respective ID firms/homeowners whose homes are being featured in today's post as we had no intentions to post our moodboard references online when we were creating our moodboard and we have lost the links to these images - pls DM us if you'd like us to credit you and we'd be happy to link the reference image back to you!
  • We also attached photos of the kind of lighting we hoped to achieve in our kitchen too. The type of lighting we veered towards were generally warm and soft. However, an additional requirement we had was that the lights installed had to be bright enough for us to easily cook at night without struggling with insufficient lighting. Side note: we are unfortunately unable to credit the respective ID firms/homeowners whose homes are being featured in today's post as we had no intentions to post our moodboard references online when we were creating our moodboard and we have lost the links to these images - pls DM us if you'd like us to credit you and we'd be happy to link the reference image back to you!
