  • Hi this is the only dark space in our entire house & it's our bathroom! For the walls, we chose to overlay evoWALL instead of hacking / tile installation because we didn't want to worry about yellowish grout lines & tiles cracking. Personally, this is quite an unconventional / new product without many reviews on it so it was quite nerve wrecking when we chose it. We've been having it for around 2 years & there hasn't been any major problems so :) The installation took 1-2 days & there wasn't any hacking involved. We chose the dusk grey tile series & the texture is MATTE. One thing to note though, we use it for our wet bathroom as well but sometimes (certain types of soap) will leave "deposits" / "stains" on the walls & in between the crevices so you do have to scrub it off once in a while (for us, we do it once every two weeks). To be honest, I'll probably choose tiles in the future because we prefer a glossy surface as opposed to a matte one & we'll just get coloured grout (grey probably) instead. *Note : the cost stated is for overlaying both the toilet + shower room (refer to last pic for the shower room)
  • Add a little plant in your bathroom to elevate the vibes! (I got the small vase & faux plant from Daiso for only $2 each!)
  • I love the IKEA's bathroom set because it sits nicely on the ledge & it's the only bathroom set you'll need to store & display your soap dispenser, toothbrushes, toothpaste & diffuser reeds!
  • We use this every single day & we LOVE LOVE LOVE it! It's very convenient to bring about, nudges you when it's time to move to another quarter of your teeth (& hence improving the time efficiency of brushing your teeth) & it's so effortless to use! It has a mode where you can clean your tongue as well so you don't need those scary-looking metal sticks anymore! If you're concerned about the cost, get the other series (don't have to get the genius smart series because you won't use some of the stuff anyways). The other series offers very similar (if not the same) modes but the only difference is it doesn't show you what brushing "mode" you're on on the toothbrush itself (but they cost a lot cheaper :) )
  • We got the mirror from IKEA but it's already phased out :/ For the vanity cabinet, we chose the contractor just because the showroom is located right beside evorich's showroom & I would NOT recommend this contractor. Back then (2021), we understood that there'll probably be delays due to COVID but the contractor was not responsive to our queries + the delays kept happening despite them promising a certain timeline. The countertop for the vanity cabinet looks great at first glance, but when water gets onto it, it leaves an ugly stain on it & we'll have to wipe it off every time we wash our hands.
  • For evoWALLs, you'll need to install a "skirting" for the wall joints so aesthetically, it might not be the best-looking choice so you might want to ask for such details BEFOREHAND :) We got our toilet bowl, countertop basin & rain shower set from Hoe Kee. We went to their showroom at Genting Road to choose the stuff & made the purchase / order on the spot. However, when they delivered the toilet bowl, they told us the one that we've ordered is OOS & they've replaced it with a similar item (they've also refunded us the remaining balance). The toilet bowl works fine but as a home owner now, I think I'll probably spend more to get an american standard toilet bowl (that uses a swirling flushing mechanism) in the future instead of the current one (the swirling flushing mechanism will cleans ALL of the areas when you flush as compared to flushing mainly from the front). For the countertop basin, we accidentally dropped our soap dispenser when we were washing it & it left a crack in the basin :(
