The tofus' favourite room: their chill area!

Welcome back to the tofu house! In this post, the tofus will introduce one of their favourite rooms: the chill area!
This is how the chill area originally looks like when it's completely clear! It's essentially a part of the L-shaped living room that has a storage platform built, along with some feature shelves, shoe shelves, and settee near the main door. To make this area cosier at night, the tofus opted for cove lighting for a softer ambience!
One of the first items that the tofus bought to furnish their chill area was this tray from IKEA! It was meant to be a bed tray to eat breakfast in bed, but they used it instead as a short table to eat and drink from on their storage platform.
Before their dining table and chairs from Taobao arrived, the tofus ate and drank exclusively in their chill area, all thanks to this trusty bed tray from IKEA.
Subsequently, the tofus filled this chill area with even more items to help the platform feel comfier! They're very happy with these bread cushions that they bought from Taobao, which makes sitting on the platform for long hours more comfortable. They also started decorating the area with some of their plant babies, as it was the one room in their house which receives the most sunlight.
Occasionally, they will have also enjoy leisurely weekend afternoons with some tea. They initially bought this tea set in anticipation that they would be able to have their own tea drinking sessions in the chill area!
The chill area is also where they keep all their books, so whenever they want to whip out a book to read, all they have to do is reach underneath, open up one of the storage doors, and they can easily grab any book they want!
As their plant babies collection grew, the tofus also made minor adjustments to their chill area. They added a bench here to keep their plants on top for maximum sunlight exposure, with a lower rack that neatly keeps some stray books and card games.
Their chill area is relatively simple, but contains a little bit of everything that fits their relaxation needs. It's undoubtedly one unique room that they're very proud of, and they love spending time here!
