Welcome to our little vanity area in the master bedroom! The vanity area is an extension of the full-height wardrobe that we had built, and features the same colours and materials we had used throughout our home – white and light wood laminates, curves, marble and gold finishes. On the left of the vanity table, we requested for two niches, for us to have easy access to frequently-used items. We had also requested for power sockets within the top niche, for our hair dryer and HomePod Mini! Whereas at the bottom niche, we have a light switch for the LEDs at the side of the vanity mirror. The vanity table also has a drawer at the bottom, which is great for frequently-used item we want to keep out of sight! On the right side of the vanity table, we requested for power sockets – which are really useful for charging our phones at night while we are in bed. One unavoidable “downside” to the design of our vanity areas is that the niches take up some of our internal storage space. The shelves within are pretty deep and narrow, and we had to stretch our hands in to be able to reach the back. We got these pull-out trays on Shopee, which helped convert the narrow shelves into drawers! This really helped with the ease of retrieving items. IG: @robertslewzaijia
