My newly created corner! Recently bought the IKEA MALM chest of drawers for additional storage and double as my vanity corner. I always prefer little to no built-ins where possible to allow flexibility to move things around if needed when our family lifestyle and needs evolve. 
My vanity area consists of makeup (next photo), fragrances for myself and my husband, my watches and accessories. I organise my earrings in small ziplock bags kept in a candle holder, and necklaces in a case kept in drawer. 
I do not have an extensive collection of makeup (I hope) and can fit all that I use on a day to day basis in the MUJI PP Carry Box, which is also very easy to clean. 
I love crates and the Aykasa foldable crates are amazing for organising, storage and adds a pop of colour in my home. These can be purchased from HipVan! 
A bit of an awkward set up, but this is how I do my makeup – just a flat mirror (from Shopee) and a chair with my makeup carry box beside.
