I have a passion for plants, but due to our month-long vacations every June and December, I'm concerned that live plants might not survive. That's why I've opted for a variety of artificial plants in our home. The only live plant in the house is the Epipremium that I purchased from IKEA. This is the original wall from the previous owner. I like the brick wall's texture as it complements our home's concept. Because this is a budget-constrained project, we are not altering the balcony. I simply painted the wall to give it a more modern appearance and covered the floor with artificial grass. I mixed paint with water to make it seep into the gaps between the stones. Before installing the artificial grass, I placed a drain cell mat at the bottom. This is to preserve the moisture of the grass, ensuring it dries quickly when exposed to rain. Vertical gardens can be an alternative for small balconies. I haven't purchased outdoor chairs for this balcony yet, as I'm still looking for the right ones. Perhaps I'll consider getting poufs so that the children can play and read books here. The Power of Paint :) We destroyed the bottles on the wall and replaced them with a vertical garden. I've never arranged flowers before, so this is my first experiment. It's not perfect yet, but it's okay for now :D I bought artificial leaves and plastic grass in Indonesia because they are more affordable. I installed fairy lights around the plants, making it look beautiful at night.
