This was one of our no-negos! The Tala light bulbs💡 The singular spiral of LED filament was supposed to mimic the Fibonacci sequence seen in pine cones and ferns. We absolutely loved how this changes the hue and vibe of the place. We placed this above our dining table, with its height staggered. For those wondering, why this price point, the bulb has an average lifespan: 20,000 hours with warm hues. (Ok but maybe we just loved it so much that we tried justifying it eitherways haha... it was one of those purchase where we just wanted to spoil ourselves on)
Speaking of dining table.. here it is! For the longest time, we toggled on the idea of customising a cement looking one vs buying it off the rack. And then ONE DAY.. we chanced upon this for sale on Taobao. Alas, our table and chairs were both from Taobao. For chairs the style and leather colour was customised to fit the sofa in the living room. We selected a 180cm long table to fit about 7-8 pax for meals!

Also on the topic of living/dining spaces- the thought of curtains nearly never crossed our minds through the entire reno process. So we were handed over the place with barren windows haha. Upon enquiring with a few firms, the curtain track would take about 1-2 months to fully be installed (including foc site checks etc), and we ultimately went with End curtains seeing how professional the team was end to end. Highly recommend!
Similarly so, we went with roller blinds for all the other rooms for easy maintanence! We enjoyed semi light shining through the curtains thus went for day shades.
On to our absolute fav spot to wind down. Our #homestolife sofa, never knew how lifechanging a recliner sofa could be! This one's 3.5 seater and can fit about 4 persons? But we later added an extension to accomodate more.

To match our "grey" brutalist themed home, our ID suggested the use of stainless steel laminates for our cabinets AND WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. The initial concerns were having fingerprint stains all over them but, it really did not turn out to be a problem. We paired it with the Rinnai stainless steel hob and stove.
Last hook: we saw this online before and wanted to recreate a similar coffee / mahjong table. Tagged the one we had an inspiration from but sadly it does not deliver to SG and is oos now. This was a final task we assigned to our ID... more on this later! 🀄️
