Hello! We are excited to share a detailed walkthrough of our open-concept kitchen, designed for both practicality and aesthetics. Whether you're renovating, moving into a new home, or just love kitchen inspiration, we hope this post helps you! Our kitchen flows effortlessly into the dining area, creating an airy, connected space perfect for entertaining. Since we mostly do light cooking, we skipped heavy-duty ventilation, keeping the look sleek and minimal. One of our favourite features is having separate dry and wet kitchen zones. - Dry Pantry where we stores snacks, coffee, and tea—soon to be paired with a coffee machine (can’t wait!). - Wet Kitchen that designed for cooking and cleaning. Standard backsplash height is 600mm, but if you’re taller than 155cm and installed typical induction hood, you might bump your head while cooking! We raised ours by 10cm, now no more forehead knocks! Standard counter height (850mm) felt too low for us (👩🏻160cm, 👦🏻174cm). We requested our ID to customised ours to 900mm. We are glad that we made a right decision, is more ergonomic when prepping and washing! ✌️ Originally, we didn’t plan for a water dispenser. After 3 months of boiling water for toddler formula (and waiting forever for it to cool), we caved and bought a water dispenser! 💡Future-proof tip: Install a hidden power point inside the bottom cabinet for a cleaner look. Since ours wasn’t pre-planned, we wrapped the cable in white vinyl film to blend in. Not perfect, but better! 🧑🍳 Favorite Kitchen Essentials - Modori Cooking Utensils: Magnetic handles = space-saving & stylish! Made from 100% food-grade silicone (BPA-free) & super easy to clean. - Rigel Sink: Perfect width - not too big, not too small. The pull-out faucet is a game-changer for washing pots and pans! Lastly, Installing LED strips in both wet and dry pantry was a brilliant decision. 🌧️Rainy days? Too dark? ✔ LED strips help. 🌚 Late-night snack runs/ Make 🥛 ? Don’t want glaring lights? ✔ LED strips are gentle on the eyes. Small tweaks can make a huge difference in daily comfort. Hope these tips help in your own kitchen journey!
