Welcome to our happy place - our living room

Here's our functional and cosy corner for us to chill and unwind after a long day at work :) Our previous home had a really small living room which could only fit a 2.5 seater sofa. So we were really happy to have more space in our second home to fit in this sectional sofa from Castlery that could seat more people and it is also very comfortable for afternoon naps!
When I am at home, I spend the most of my time in the living room watching TV and occasionally hopping into my balcony to tend to my plants.
I think the best buy for our living room must be this light beige SPORUP rug from IKEA which has unfortunately been discontinued. It was only $89 when we bought it and it was such a good deal considering other similar neutral looking ones which I've shortlisted cost 2 - 3x more than $89! Plus this rug was made from recycled PET bottles and the quality is great. We also welcomed a dog called Joy into our lives shortly after moving in, and I don't have to worry about her destroying the rug because I will not feel heart pain if I need to replace it one day (but so far it is holding up pretty well!)
We also got a 60 inch Haiku fan to cover our living room and dining room area. We loved how powerful this ceiling fan is and the breeze from the fan feels very comfortable, just like a slow sea breeze. Sitting under this fan sometimes can lull us to sleep too. Definitely a good buy too!
