  • Step into our Janpandi-inspired 4-room sanctuary! Behold our seamlessly integrated open-concept dining space, seamlessly merging with our living room. By bidding farewell to the once enclosed kitchen and storeroom, we've uncovered a spacious flow that effortlessly connects the kitchen, dining, and living areas.
  • This cozy space is where my wife and I retreat to, dedicating the majority of our leisure hours to the simple joy of unwinding together, often indulging in the delightful pastime of watching movies side by side. Among our cherished investments, the textured wall paint stands out as a beloved feature that adds character and charm to our space.
  • Our old kitchen was long! But honestly, we didn't need all that space. So, we got creative and turned it into a dry area with a cool island in the middle.
  • Definitely one of the highlights of our entire home! We absolutely adore the warm, inviting feel of the wood laminate. It's a stroke of luck that it perfectly complements our HDB's wall and floor tiles, tying the whole aesthetic together seamlessly.
  • In designing our master bedroom, we aimed for a serene and budget-friendly atmosphere, considering it's where we unwind and recharge. One of our smartest choices has been selecting this metal frame wardrobe. Its adjustable features offer incredible flexibility, allowing us to customize it to our liking while significantly cutting costs compared to traditional carpentry wardrobes, which can easily set us back over 2k. The gentle arc of this wall not only conceals clutter but also adds to the soothing ambiance we desire.
  • I'm drawn to the raw, industrial vibe that cement exudes. However, in a climate like Singapore's, maintaining cement floors can be quite challenging due to the risk of cracks. Initially, we toyed with the idea of having the entire living room floor in cement. Yet, we realized it might pose maintenance issues. So, we compromised by incorporating a small section in the entryway, preserving the aesthetic while ensuring ease of maintenance. It's the perfect balance between style and practicality. This area is still a work in progress, as you might have noticed from the half-length curtain. We're considering expanding it into another cozy chill-out spot gradually.
