  • Hello everyone, welcome to our home! We would describe our style as japandi-inspired with cosy vibes ✨ we strove for function without compromising on aesthetics and each corner was carefully designed according to our lifestyle preferences.
  • Our home is a 5-room BTO at 113sqm. When we were deciding on the layout of the house, we initially wanted to convert the suggested study into a faux balcony with bifold glass doors. However, we eventually scrapped that idea as we thought having a bigger living room would make the space more airy and versatile. No regrets there! We generally kept to the layout and focused on sprucing each space.
  • Our entry way featuring our carpentry that hides the bomb shelter - a last minute decision that we made. We're so glad that we went ahead with it as it turned out really nice. We received numerous compliments from our guests. Not to mention the extra storage space as a plus point!
  • We placed a shoe bench there to wear our shoes at ease. The space is looking a little bare and we're thinking of maybe adding a side table and a painting.
  • The view you get when you enter our house. We love how bright and airy the living room is.
  • Our living room that features our top home appliance - the roborock that keeps our house clean and ourselves sane :')
  • Our DIY limewash walls! We got our limepaint from Vasari.
  • Cosy vibes. Accessories are so important in giving that extra touch ✨
  • Our cosy little reading nook to unwind after a long day.
  • Featuring our dry pantry that hosts our very utilised coffee machine.
  • Our smart light switches and dimmer. Our house is a smarthome that the Mr fully diy-ed himself. We'll be sharing more about our smarthome features so stay tuned here or on our Instagram!
  • Probably our favourite part of the house. Still gushing over our kitchen even after 5 months of living here.
  • The highlight of our home is our open & close concept kitchen. We cook quite a bit and didn't like the idea of doing heavy cooking in an open kitchen but at the same time, we wanted one haha so we decided on this win-win situation. The bifold windows and glass doors tuck away nicely when we're not cooking which we will share more about when we feature our kitchen.
  • Sneak peak of our bedroom!
  • Thanks for tuning into our house tour! Till our next post!
