Whimsical Kids' Room- Perfect for Bookworms + Treasure Hoarders

Welcome to the kids' room! The wall of two adjoining bedrooms is hacked and replaced by a foldable door. So, what you see is one long bedroom with the foldable door opened. According to the younger one, the room is full of treasures. Most are hidden in various places to keep the sanity of the adults. The main features of the room are the bed frames which are imported from eastern Europe. There are also 2 bookshelves to cater to the reading habits of the owners of the room. The walls are adorned with photos and academic achievement awards earned by the two boys.
Having a narrow shelf at the back of the bedframe allows for a lamp to be placed there, creating the perfect lighting for bookworm number 1 to devour his books before bed. The mirrors on the wall help to open up the space in the room even more.

The setup at the other bookshelf looks like this, allowing for enjoyment of books while sitting on the armchair. This is also the place where we will park ourselves at while putting the boys to sleep.

Both boys love to switch on their ambience lights to create a cozy vibe at night. The beams on their bed frame are a perfect place for the lights.
