  • Hi folks 👋🏻 Today we are covering our bathrooms! Both our master and common bathrooms have the same look, just with different layouts. We will be sharing our renderings as well, so let's play spot the difference 🤫 To start off, our original bathroom tiles were not as beautiful as we thought, therefore we started hunting for tiles at Hafary and fell in love with these emerald green tiles that look stunning in the shower area. To keep costs lower, we decided to keep the original floor tiles as they can match with our emerald ones, and are quite functional.
  • As compared to the rendering, you have made some changes: 1️⃣ Swapped the position cement wall with our full height shower screen as our vanity needed more protection 2️⃣ Retained our HDB grills instead since it still matched the look of the finished space 3️⃣ Changed the vanity colour to a turquoise so it matches the rest of our house
  • Moving onto our master bathroom, in contrast, the space is more long and rectangular, providing more room for the shower area. Similar to our common bath, we retained the HDB grills to save cost and used the same vanity to keep the look consistent.
  • We love how it's an integrated ceramic sink, as it makes cleaning much easier and we do not need to worry about water splashing onto the countertop. It also gives us sufficient room to keep our accessories and toothbrushes.
  • As we do not have a cement wall for storing out toiletries due to space constraints, we opted for a shelf instead. And to avoid anymore drilling, we used suction hooks to help hold our clothes and towels, creating more functional space.
  • Can you guess the biggest change? You guessed it, it's our glassblock wall. We actually wanted a glass block partition during our initial planning phase. However this was not able to be done as the space between the wall and the doorframe was too narrow and we had to omit this in the end 🥲 (Maybe in our next home?) This is all we have for you today, see you in our next post! ~Nay & ZQ
