  • Welcome to our cozy living room with Zero built-in. We baby-proofed this place. We chose large format 600 x 1200 white tiles to make this space looks larger. The white tiles are of a limewash effect which we really like! We also diy-limewashed the TV feature wall into mocha silk colour from Raffles Paint.
  • If you read about my house tour, I mentioned we built a partition wall and created an entryway or foyer and this is how it looks like from the dining / corridor. The partition made my living room separated from the bomb shelter door and we do not need carpentry to conceal it up as it does not affect my living room's aesthetics.
  • The Electrolux air purifier is a free gift that comes with the washing machine and dryer we bought from Gain City which we are currently using now. There are still a lot of renovation going on in Tengah around us so it is good to have one. Beware of a baby smacking it everyday. We also bought the popsical and BMB speakers/mixers from Teo Heng to support them during covid period 4 years ago which we moved to our new house. We are going to upgrade the popsical to a touch screen one with updated songs soon so stay tune haha. Beware of a baby smacking these in the living room as well... I tried to baby proof as much as I can but I cannot win baby.
  • I really love our curtains all the way from the ceiling to make my living room look more spacious with higher ceiling. We really love the colour of the curtain as well and it is to match our kitchen's colour palette of teal. We have no regrets getting this super comfortable top grain full leather sofa at $3049 (after discount) from Jayee Home that has electric recliner on both sides so hubs and I gets one side each to relax and unwind while watching TV. But beware of baby pressing the buttons for fun HAHA. I off it on certain times of the day so my baby wouldn't touch it. It also has a USB and USB-C for charging your phones, handy!
  • We put a plant here and also our wifi router here because putting it in the living room makes more sense than the DB box and also gives more wifi connectivity. Also a gift from our relative, a money plant. We put one more 'coffee table' in front so my baby will not go and touch the higher side table behind haha.
  • This 'coffee table' can be separated into 4 more chairs for guests in our living room during hosting sessions!
  • We can see the dining area from here.
  • We have a clock here so we can tell the time and also placed a green feature moss wall here so that we bring in the greeneries. I am thinking to put 2 wooden ledges beside the moss feature wall on the right side to display photo frames. Otherwise, this wall is plain when walking into our living room but now it's pleasantly green to our eyes.
  • We got these from Pollyanna Concepts! Their moss wall are real but you do not really need to water them and maintain. The succulent and fern is fake though, you cannot really tell from afar!!
