A kitchen with wooden tones and black elements. This combination is both warm and dramatic, relaxed yet sophisticated. At least to us 😂 Keeping the hood and hob tabletop side clear of anything was the number one rule! This is just so that it will be easier for us to wipe down the area after cooking each time! 
Looking back at the original kitchen colour choice and style when we first took over the unit, I guess it's a dramatic change too!
