Vibrant Living Room With An Orange Sofa & Yellow Elephant Leg Chair

The happy view from my bedroom! We bought the yellow elephant leg chair from Lazada but the item's sold out now (you can probably find it on the same platform, different seller). The orange sofa is from IKEA but the colour isn't available currently (not too sure if IKEA will be bringing it back) but you can still get it in other colours.

Our living room has a very straightforward & simple layout, it's basically a squarish open space next to the balcony & dining area. Instead of false ceiling & cove lighting, we opted to get a simple floor lamp to complement our very bright & vibrant orange sofa (this is to maintain the high ceiling as it is so that the vertical height creates a bigger sense of space).
On the opposite side of the sofa, we opted for a bigger "TV console" from IKEA to hide all of our clutter and instead of mounting a TV on the wall, we opted to display a painting & our vinyl player. If we wanted to watch a movie / show, we'll just remove the painting & project the movie on the wall!
This configuration allows us to reconfigure / change out the furniture whenever we want & provides us with greater flexibility!

Our little music corner. The vinyl player came with a black translucent cover but we didn't like the aesthetics of it so we customized the acrylic cover from Ek Cheong Signcrafts (a 3mm thickness acrylic cover that measures approx 30 cm x 25 cm x 5 cm costs us about $42)
