The island centres in the house which partitions the kitchen and the living room. It used to be a wall which we demolished to do an open concept kitchen. 
The island extends to the balcony. The bright and airy balcony provides space for an open concept play corner for the boys while we do the dishes and washing of laundy. 
Cook with love and serve with heart as the island is where we eat and chill as a family.
