King-sized bed with ample space in the MBR? No problem!

This is where we look forward to spending our nights 😂 Our MBR has completely no built-ins, as we allocated a separate room for our walk-in wardrobe. Thus we could fit a king-sized bed comfortably with ample additional space.
This is my cosy bedside corner… where dust settles all the time 😫
What did we do with the extra space? We converted it into a work station for Jem! 1 year later, I’m not quite sure what to think of placing our bed and work station side by side. Ideally I would like to separate our resting place from work, but Jem seems very happy with this set-up, so all’s good (for now) 😅
